Since its creation, SOMAFER has engaged in a set of quality approaches managed through a quality management system. The ISO 9001 certification was implemented from 1999 to 2015 to anticipate and respond to the concerns of its various interlocutors: staff, partners, suppliers, customers, communities close to its activities. Since 2016, the quality approach, through IFS certification, has been extended to all of the company's activities.
All the issues defined as priorities by SOMAFER are integrated into the quality system:
> Control of product quality, particularly through the development of certified and labeled product lines and ranges,
> Control of the traceability of the products at all stages of manufacture from the breeding to the final consumer,
> Control of food safety through the management system based on the principles of IFS Food,
> Consideration of sustainable development issues by an organization for the environmental management of site activities based on the principles of ISO 14001,
> Respect for animal welfare,
> - Continuous improvement of the safety and working conditions of all staff.
